* Topaz Blue on Grey (this was a rare combo, it took me ages to find one, far too many have grey or beige interiors….yuk).
* It’s a 2002 model so it has all the facelift kit, newer steering wheel, genuine m sport bumpers, m sport trim plates, the last of the hand finished 5 series.
The car has the optional original BMW 18 inch parallel alloys, which are very rare, with good tyres fronts are continentals with about 3-4mm and the rears are good years with approx. 5mm. (these wheels alone are worth a lot!). Bare in mind wheels are used with some curbing but no buckles or dents.
The spec is as follows, it is entirely original apart from the black kidney grills

- 1 key included (1 remote key) comes with mats and boot liner (not E39 specific).
- 98k miles approx.
Service history for it. In my ownership it has been serviced in 2015, then in 2014 it had a new turbo along with a service, and again in 2015 I performed an oil and filter change. I have full paperworks and BMW handbooks etc but will try to find upon auction ending as its been dry stored away for few months :)
Its had the swirl flaps removed to preserve the engine (common fault) and fitted a new style vortex breather to improve reliability in the engine, the engine itself is perfect, runs quiet and pulls like a train.

Exhaustsound note is amazing sounds more like the e60 535d and the screamingnoise it makes its just immense so you have to sit in it to believe itspower and the noise in self.
Good brakes all round, rears were done in at 90k (new pads), and the front fitted new pads before September 2015.
I have repaired the known common faults with bushes and control arms andalso those tempremental small adjustment to make it a complete perfecte39 530d.
As it’s been my daily car, looks great when clean and lugs around 5 people happily. On a recent trip over to Ireland it returned 43mpg. There aren’t many of these in this spec around, and it’s nice that it’s the best of line 2002 models and fault free engine during those 2002 02 to 2003 03 models.
Aside from minor wear and tear there is none of the usual rust associated with these cars. (Bonnet tailgate doors etc are rot free)
Faults free.
Irecommend the car is driven away hundreds of miles, short journey should be ok or long and weare able to show you this in person so you can clearly test itsperformance as well as handling and suspension etc also you can use thefeatures and see everything is sound
Carstarts and drives fine in cold or hot and doesnt have any issues whichare prone and always warmed and cooled down being a turbo car and also adiesel needs warming up longer and im a specialist in these e39 so i doget down and dirty if anything needs just another look at. its my prideand joy so i have to make sure its spotless and mechanically freewithout fault as i drive this as my own personal vehicle and do theregular school runs and weekend trips away.
Bodywork:
Paintworkis 8/10 as its been detailed over previous ownership and looks orignal fromnew, no paint or no respray just orignal bmw coachwork - its hadspent detailing over last summer and it cost me whopping £200 quid to doinside and outside so its was on a discount basis as a friend openedhis new detailing company and i was luckily the person to have my cardone by his team of 2 professional car body analyst. The car does have wear and tear marks, rear bumper valance has crack and bumper right corner bumper crack, the car does have few scratches on the car like bottom lip on bumper front, also 1 numebr plate light is out that all needs replacing.
There issome minor stone chips at the front but very faint and hardlynoticeable but just being a honest and there small ding on 1 door,hardly noticeable. There are some wear and tear marks around the car asit is 15 years old. (please see photos)
The colouris Topaz blue and looks similar to Aegean Blue very nice andunique with the combo Blue on Grey leather, it would really benefit from car wash which i do every weekend so if you pickupon the weekend its gets a whopping clean for you as a new owner :)

The car is located in East London (Ilford), I would get an insurance quote first as it’s a high group being an m sport auto.
Car has MOT until 8 june 2016, and will be sorned from April, although with the regulations the buyer must sort his own tax as I will claim this back.
Auction starts at £0.99 and has small reserve price and car is sold as seen, similar cars in perfect mechanical condition will go north of £4000 with the mileage which is commensurate with the age of the vehicle. Because mycircumstanes i have to sell to pay for mortgage on first time buyerhouse, I'm using my company car as my daily driver and the buyer should be aware the car may need to be collected by3 days of ending unless the buyer is happy to pay for delivery at £1.25a mile
It isa great car and whoever buys it will get a bargain, it will need someminor touches like rear bumper valance needing a small adjustment and make a perfect car and its 1 offunique stance car and few scratches and small marks around due to year of car, hence the low start price. Sale price will be final, Iam not allowing further tyre kicking and negotiation. I have described it ashonestly as possible so there will be no surprises
