2001 BMW 540i Touring (Wagon)
Classic BMW 540i Wagon for sale
4.4 Liter V 8 282 HP,324 lb-ft
I bought this wagon in 2016 with 101K miles on it. It now has 173K miles of mostly highway driving. This car has had all of its repairs over the past 5 years done at BMW West, Katy, Texas and I have all of it's service records. This is a great daily driver and also a long-distance cruiser as well. It has been a daily driver for my wife over the past 2 years. We just have too many cars.so this one is for sale. The paint is in great condition and there is no rust.
Here are some of the repairs that have been done:
New tie rods
New heater hoses
New rear air springs
New thermostat,New windshield
New windshield washer motor, etc.
New oil pan gasket,
New transmission gaskets,
Power steering gaskets, timing cover and valve gaskets.
Other items that have been updated: Brakes, battery and a new console.
We put 4 new Michelin tires on it a month ago.
The back door has a soft close lift gate with operable lift gate window.
The cargo area has a full coverage Weather Tech mat.
The old stock cassette radio has been replaced with a new Pioneer radio that includes Garmin Navigator, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, etc.
The 10 stock speakers have been upgraded as well. Everything was installed by Car Toys.
The Kenwood Subwoofer is included.
AC runs nice and cold! I have both keys and owners manual. Full size matching spare tire is included.
Cashiers check required for payment at time of purchase. The vehicle is located in Houston, TX.
