1990 BMW HARTGE H5SP (535) h5sp, 4 dr , auto. Rare COLLECTIBLE BMW from the early 90's. Soon to have collector plate status in - 2015.
Hartge H5SP. 3.5L inline 6, Hartge Camshaft, Hartge exhaust /headers, Hartge Suspension, Brakes and Muffler. Very powerful car. Black Metalic with Black Leather. Sunroof, and all options available. 67,000 miles / 114,000 km. Overall this is a fabulous running, driving and handling E34. I have owned the car for 8 years. This is a great investment on a very collectable car, that can be driven, enjoyed and see the VALUE increase. Car always kept in heated garage. Air Cared with great results. I will include a complete conversion kit to change to a manual 5 speed. I have had mechanic quote of 800.00 to install. The conversion is straight forward, no modification needed. The value and collectibility will not be hurt by the conversion.

Hartge company is known for putting larger, more powerful factory BMW engines in smaller cars, such 5 Series and 3 Series. The styling of Hartge aerodynamic parts, lower tauter suspension, enormous tires, shorter final drive, and the emphasis on engineering and function. Today, Hartge products are well-known throughout the world, especially the Hartge wheel with its characteristic 11-spoke design, which has developed into a corporate trade mark.
Hartge has installed its own fully automatic engine test bench of the kind usually only operated by major automobile manufacturers.This means that Hartge can carry out all long-distance and endurance tests necessary in the development phase of an engine.
Hartge has been approved by the German Motor Vehicle Authority (KBA) as an automobile manufacturer since 1985.
The H5SP has a 245 bhp and 243lb ft of toque 3.5 liter engine. These cars had packages, which were extremely flexible. So long as the documentation is there, then they can be considered Hartge Factory cars. Otherwise the mods are add-ons, and the value isn't as much as a "new" Hartge prepared car.
