This posting is for my 2003 BMW 540 IT Wagon. It has 159,310 miles on it. It is an automatic. The car is Glacier Green with a Tan leather interior. I just took the car on a 250 mile road trip and it performed flawlessly. These are really nice cars and the last of the V8 Wagon from BMW. The car has a 4.4L V8 with 290 HP and 340 ft lbs. of torque. Its a fantastic highway car. It just goes and goes.
The interior is in really nice shape. Some minor wear on the leather and a few small stains, but nothing major. BMW Floor mats are included. Heated, adjustable leather seats. Climate Control system w/ AC and Heat. Heated rear view mirrors. 1 touch sunroof and window controls. The car has every available option for the 540IT including the navigation, external proximity sensors, HID headlights and fog lights. It has a CD Disc changer, NAV and tape deck (located behind the nav screen) installed in the car. The AC and heat both work. As does the cruise control.
The body of the car is in great shape. There's no major dings, dents or scratches. No rust. No accidents in the cars history. All of the chrome inserts still shine. The paint shines, and does not have any clear coat separation. No weird sounds when the car drives, no odd shifting issues. Just a solid car that starts up and drives.
The tires and brakes are in great shape. Tires have around 10k miles on them. The brakes have around the same. The car has a traction control system as well. Recent oil change, and full tune up done in the past 5k miles. Does not leak any fluids. Typical to these cars, it does burn around 1/4 to 1/2 qt of oil between oil changes. That is typical to BMWs. Synthetic oil has been used exclusively with this car.
