After 10 years of commitment to E28’s it is time due to health issues to move on.
Please read the following carefully.
This auction is for everything listed below as a whole. I will not separate.
Brown E28.
1983 528i executive, leather interior, no A/C (removed). Runs straight LPG using a genuine BMW 4 barrel carbie manifold with a Holley 650 throttle body and an Impco 425 LPG mixer.
LPG retest date July 2016.
This combination has created a motor with an incredible amount of torque which enables the car to pull from idle even in top gear at low speeds. Reminds me of my 253 LH Torana.
4 Speed manual gearbox which has a damaged 2nd gear syncro hub so it jumps out of 2nd gear. It comes with 2 spare 4 speed gear boxes. (see spare parts list)
Heavy duty lowered springs with Koni yellow struts in rear and almost new Munroe gas in front. Braided brake lines. 15 inch mags. Towbar, mudplaps, Rolla roof rack, Sony CD player, ABS brakes.
New battery and custom exhaust system recently fitted. Over the past 10 years this car has had only the best parts put on it.
Has VIC rego till March 2016 but NO RWC. Has some rust in the usual E28 places and will require a new windscreen and some rust under the windscreen seal repaired .
Silver E28
1985 528i, blue cloth interior, re-trimmed door cards in blue vinyl . 5 speed manual, sunroof, A/C, E34 15 inch mags, 225 X15 Nankang tyres (90% tread) , Factory rear window sun blinds .
Unique M5 bodykit with 535 oil cooler integrated into front skirt, LED daylight lights and fog lights. Has some minor rust in the usual places.
Currently on VIC club plates and has only been driven a couple of times in the last year.
Gearbox has noisy laye shaft bearings, the cluster has stopped working since I replaced the speedo gears and the brakes have an intermittent low pedal which I haven’t traced yet and the exhaust needs repairing. (see spare parts)
This car is still very quick and drives like a new one. No rattles or clunks and handles superbly. A great weekend county cruiser.

Bonnet, 2X front guards, 4X doors, 2X front skirts, Front & rear bumper bars, Full set of factory tinted windows including rear window. Set non ABS front struts, Koni yellow front shocks, std front springs, std height rear struts. Injected inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, throttle body, A/F meter, ignition amplifier, ECU, distributor. Differential, 2X 4 speed gearboxes.
Body mouldings and trim, interior parts ,seat belts, heater fan, switches, relays. Power steering box and pump, alternator, starter motors. 2X M30 motors M30b27 & M30b32 with heads suit rebuild, 2 sets of valves, collets, rockers & shafts. Metal sun roof, a section of E28 roof to repair sun roof’s, Saab glass sun roof (yes it can be done), Gearbox shifters and various parts. A box of metric nuts and bolts. Cruise control & on board computer with loom, ignition leads , small tin of various gaskets, hoses, door rubbers, fan belts. 5X rectangular E28 fog lights, 5X taillight assemblies(mixture of left and right), 2 sets of headlights, 2X complete grilles, front & side indicators, instrument clusters some in pieces , 4X half shafts, exhaust system, 4X Pirelli 15 tyres 50% tread AND probably lots of things I have forgotten to mention.

2X firewall steering column rubber seals, fuses, alternator bearings & slip rings, clutch master cylinder, brake master cylinder, hand brake shoes, 2X bypass hoses, 2X top radiator hoses,11X door lock strike rubbers, 2X top & bottom spring seat rubbers, tail shaft centre bearing, Oil pressure switch, 1X set chrome window rubber inserts, front brake caliper guides, 13X alternator rubber mounting bushes, brake pad wear sensor, 2X adaptors for radio antennas (euro to DIN), 2X rear caliper kits, auto brake pedal rubber, 2X manual brake pedal rubber, guibo (flexible coupling) for tail shaft, 4 X window rubber seals, LUK clutch kit, 2X HU930/3X Mann oil filters, set of speedo gears.
Tools
Crank lock up tool for M30, 1 inch drive socket for M30 crank, tail shaft flexible joint compression tool( a must to have when installing a new coupling). Various other tools for fitting seals into block all hand made by a German man who I bought a lot of stuff from.

Now if the famous saying from “The Castle” Tell him he’s dreaming comes to mind regarding the starting price, then I suggest you check the current prices being asked on ebay. A lot of the new parts were imported when the $AU was high. Current prices are much more and postage rates , especially from the USA have sky rocketed.
