1981 BMW 633CSI, Red interior, 5-speed manual car. Its on non-op (not registered).
I bought this car after it was sitting for 24 years. Last registered 1996. So it has needed many things replaced, and I have done a lot, but someone else will need to finish it.
It was running and driving up until a few months ago, when I started it, and started leaking fuel from the fuel injector seals.I drove it on the freeway about 5 months ago to get the VIN verified, to get the title, no major problems. Fuel injectors have MAJOR leak, so it is not drivable now.
I have many misc parts I will include with it. I am going to give as much info as I know, because I have spent also of time and money getting it this far. And I want to let the next owner know this is a project car.
The original red seats leather is in bad condition, and I found the same red seats in a 5-series, and installed them,original 633 seats included. This car is VERY original, so many items will need to be replaced. The paint is original from 1981, except for the trunk. See pictures where the paint has been polished off on the corners. This makes this car perfect for restoration.
There was evidence of damage to the rear trunk area, that was repaired.
There is a slight dent on the front nose. There is a spot of rust under the rear glass, and a little under the trunk seal.There is no other cancer on the WHOLE CAR. This is a California car.

740i 16x8 wheels, and new General tires
Cap, rotor, plugs, wires
All 3 coolant temp sensors
Thermostat and gasket
Exterior Fuel pump and filter
Cold start injector (7th injector)
Air filter
Rebuilt front and rear brake calipers
New fluids, brake, coolant, engine oil/filter,transmission, rear diff.
Refurbished / rebuilt distributor
Cleaned electronics in air flow regulator, before throttle body
Cleaned idle air control valve
Bosch O2 sensor
Aftermarket muffler (not loud) installed. I bought it with no muffler.
All lights work
I swapped out steering wheel from donor car

Spare interior trim pieces I got from a donor car
Good condition door / window seals. Condition is 8 out of 10. New these are $800.
