Description
Hey guys, time for me to part ways with this beauty. 2000 e38 740iL. 4.4L V8 (210kw/420Nm) Closest to immaculate you will find. Selling as I'm after a wagon. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. This is a lot of car for the money, Holden and Ford are still not making cars this refined in the V8's. Come and check it out, you will not be disappointed! Has service history.
This car has a lot of bells and whistles. Dynamic stability and traction control. Rain sensing window wipers. "His and hers" keys(remembers seat, mirror and climate settings etc for the two keys) front and rear park assist, SatNav in dash with its multi-function on board computer/TV. Used to be able to watch TV but now needs a digital receiver. Double glazed windows. Soft touch closing boot. Steel Sunroof. Very smart Immobilser Alarm, can leave windows down and will sense any change in air pressure and go off (if someone reaches in etc). Leather everything. Electric everything. Rear view mirror tints at night if a car is behind you. Great sounding stereo with pioneer 12" sub professionally installed with everything working off the factory controls and has an aux lead in glove box for ipod etc. Mirror tints. Has a big ol' cell phone built in too. Probably more but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.
These cars were over $200,000 when new so its got many many luxuries. This is the long wheel base version for executives etc so has a lot of leg room. I'm 6'2 and there is a massive amount of room in the back.
Fully adjustable coil-overs on 19" BBS wheels(not sure if genuine, were on the car when I got it.) Exhaust has been changed and sounds great but isn't in your face loud.
Has a few stone chips on bonnet etc and one small dent on right rear door from supermarket but is hardly noticeable, tried to get a photo but its still hard to see. This car is huge and is very unique, handles great but is still super smooth.
Own a piece of luxury German engineering for a fraction of what it was new. Test drives welcome but no low ballers please.
