BMW 840 CI SPORT

This is a bit of an odd sale for me as I only purchased this car a couple of months ago having wanted an 8 series BMW for as long as I can remember. I specifically wanted an 840 ci Sport and I wanted one with a specific set of what were optional extras. I had been loosely looking for years when this car came up for sale and believe it or not I bought the car unseen due to how the owner spoke of it. On the day I went to pick it up I was utterly flabbergasted by its condition. Every single aspect of the cars condition far exceeded my expectation. In truth I would describe the car as in virtually new condition.  The reason I am considering selling the car is that it's really for me to damn good to use.  I believe cars should be driven used and enjoyed but the condition of this car is such that I'm uncomfortable doing so. I have always felt these cars would become a collectors car for a number of reasons, the last production car with pop up lights, the first car with active suspension et al. For this reason I cannot bring myself to use this car as i intended because truthfully it should be in a collection somewhere appreciating.  About the car. Perfect and very expensive interior with all optional extras including the very very rare and highest spec CSL leather option possible. I should add the only option missing is the outdated phone prep, I did not want this option as to me it ruined the interior hence I was very pleased to find a car the had every option bar that one. 2 owners from new and a bill of sale for £74000. The first owner I'm told sent the car back to the supplying dealer to have the roof lining and all the interior trim changed from black to white as he found the interior to dark. I doubt in itself that was very cheap and I think is the beginning of the love and care lavished on this car from new.   Everything mechanically on the car works as the day it left the factory.  Just as an example of the fastidious detail and expense the previous owner went to on this car the air con system has been completely renewed, as have all the suspension bushes, as have all the electronic dampers as have the optional CSL wheels and the brand new Goodyear Eagle tyres all round. These costs run into thousands and thousands and thousands. Bodywork is perfect. Wheels and tyres as new The toolkit is as new, the little torch is in the glovebox and works, The rear sun shades works. I could go on and on and on here but to be honest if you are a genuine collector or are looking for an utterly outstanding 8 Series Bmw you will be considering contacting me already. What I will say is I am not bullshitting here in any way, I don't financially need to sell this car I genuinely cannot see myself doing anything other than showing it and I genuinely cannot bring myself to use it as I expected because I don't want to change its condition. In monetary costs it's worth about a quarter of the value of my everyday car but to me it is it's rarity that troubles me and thats due to its condition. That simply is why I am selling. The car is available for viewing at my house on the Essex/Suffolk border. I will happily answer any questions about the car I can. I will accept cash or bank transfer only to sell. Out of respect to the previous owner for whom this car was very special and who really did not want to part with it I will not sell to anyone I don't think will look after it as he did.
