Description
BMW 2002 1971 factory fitted ZF1 lsd and sunroof. A true barn find car with original floors and seals with no rust.
Purchased new in 1971 by Mr Folkard of Galston NSW from Capital Motors Sydney with owners manual and factory service history dating back to 20/12/71.
Recently came out of dry storage were its been since 2005. Then went through an extensive mechanical overhaul to get it back on the road with over 10 k spent on the overhaul.
1) Complete cylinder head overhaul.
2) Complete gasket set replacement (no oil leaks at all)
3) Cooling system fully overhauled including all hoses, radiator service, water pump & thermostat.
4) Brake reline, including re-sleeved brake master cylinder, new brake hoses, front calipers overhauled & brake pad replacement.
5) Fuel system including all hoses, carburetor complete overhaul & fuel tank clean.
6) Four brand new tires.
This car drives like new, no rattles no squeaks and really presents in beautiful condition.
Probably one of the few BMW 2002's in turn key condition, left original and un-restored in the world.
