Up for sale is my BMW that I have owned for the past year. I am heading overseas in a few months and want it gone, Hense the price! It's served me well. I have had no major problems with it. Beautiful car to drive. Please ask any questions you may have before you make your bid. It's got all the bells and whistles. It's not running on run flats at the moment.
I would suggest you have a pre purchase inspection for your own peace of mind. In saying that, it has just been serviced. All the stuff that needs to be done has been done. Will pass any relevant pit inspections no problems. Don't worry that it won't come with statutory warranty, in my experience they are not worth the paper they are written on. They want you to service the car every 5000 Kms (I have religiously done mine every 10000) and they only give you up to $1000 for most things and up to $2000 for gearbox, engine. So if the unthinkable happens. You are really not that much better off. My service history available on request. I had a prepurchase inspection carried out last April when I bought it and there was no major problems. I can give this to you on request.
Dont be concerned about the kms. Yes its 242000 but BMW's run well in to their 500000's. This cars kms were done on highway. If you break it down its only 34500 kms a year. Or 660kms a week. The vehicle was owned by a sales rep on the Gold Coast before me who use to drive back and forwards to Brisbane.
Vehicle is located in Tasmania at the moment. I am happy to deliver it anywhere in Australia for you on purchase, AT YOUR COST. But you will need to view it first. I don't want to be bringing it somewhere and you decide you don't want it. It's not that far to Tasmania really! A $60 plane trip from Melbourne and about $80 from Sydney!
