BMW X5 3.0i (2006) - custom performance luxury car

Every now and then a special car comes up for sale.If you are seeking a unique, performance luxury vehicle with a strong, transparent service and maintenance history you may find this is the car for you.I'm a self confessed BMW X5 performance motoring enthusiast and have fastidiously upgraded and maintained this X5 over my years of ownership.The X5 is my daily drive and has been used for both personal use and business commuting linked to my Senior Manager role.For me I wanted two things from this car. The first thing was reliability as the car is needed for work. I have spared no expense proactively maintaining the car and without a doubt the X5 is a dream to drive and lives up to the ultimate driving machine tag.On the maintenance side of things the car has been serviced regularly every 10 to 15,000 k's using premium oils. Maintenance includes.Complete brake rebuild. Rotors/discs, ceramic pads front and back - near new Complete replacement of air conditioning system including fan and compressor Rebuild of front end - replacement of upper and lower control arms and bushes Rebuild of rear end - bushes etc Replacement of brake master cylinder Replacement rocker cover gasketReplacement of all 6 ignition coils and spark plugs Replacement of throttle body controller Replacement of fanbelt and pulley tensioner Replacement drivers side door handle and power window actuatorFor the astute purchaser you would recognise the value of the maintenance done, not only the dollar value but the fact that this maintenance removes a lot of the unknown repair doubt that exists with a used car and somewhat guarantees trouble free motoring.When considering your purchase know that an X5 with 80 to 90,000 k's is entering a significant maintenance period which is bit of a double whammy. You pay a premium for lower k's and get a run of quite costly 100 to 150k maintenance costs. I can assure you that this car will be reliable given the maintenance done. I have receipts for all maintenance mentioned in this rundown. Total maintenance invested in vehicle over last 3 years ballpark $12k.As an enthusiast I also wanted the car to perform and be unique. Hence, the black on black customised appearance. Car has Sports Pack as standard (sports seats, steering wheel and suspension).On the performance / custom upgrades..20 inch staggered Niche Wheels imported from the US (cost $2400) running bridgestone 315's on the rear and 275's on the front. Tyres are good to excellent condition.Top of the range aftermarket factory fit Android based internet enabled entertainment system (cost $1600 / less than 1 year old). Running Android Kit Kat 4.4 OS. Sounds incredible and is essentially a premium sound, video, DVD, navigation and internet Android application system tablet in the dash with High Definition wide screen. New digital rear view camera and hands free mobile phone capability. You will love this system!Aftermarket 2.5 inch twin sports exhaust system including truflow cross pipe linked to two magnaflow sports mufflers giving the car a unique sporty performance note and extra performance. (cost $1400)Blacked out ambulance grade window tint in rear.Keeps the car cool and gives total privacy. All black kidney grills. Aftermarket smoke black LED rear tail lights imported from USA.AFe cold air intake imported from USA. Improves performance and sound. Aftermarket rear lip spoiler. Just looks the goods. Blue ice LED internal comfort lighting. Original and white LED globes available. Rola roof racks. Tow bar.All these things combine to make the car a standout in appearance with exceptional on road performance, handling and presence. Great car, selling due to X6 upgrade.
