Description
Up for auction is my bmw 325i automatic convertible with long rego. It starts, runs and stops well. Electric roof goes up and down without fuss on command, in fact, all electronics work well, except the windscreen washer warning comes on every time I switch off the car. I have owned this vehicle from 2011, when I replaced several parts including new thermostat. The mechanic broke the radiator inlet so I was then up for a new radiator, plus new hoses as well. I replaced the front shock absorbers on the mechanics advice. Then the steering rack started leaking earlier this year so it got a new power steering rack. Got the automatic serviced as it lagged when changing from 1st gear to 2nd gear on initial take off when cold. It would then change gears normally thereafter. As a precaution I purchased a second hand 325i auto gearbox and torque converterbut haven't needed it yet. The spare gearbox is included with the car if required ( they are expensive to buy if you ever need one). The motor runs very well, and has heaps of power. I replaced the soft top, and had the rear seat reupholstered on the base. The paintwork was scratched when I bought the car, and although I worried about it initially I soon forgot about it. Overall the car looks good, so it is only noticeable upon close inspection. Tyres are good. Leather seats are in pretty good condition for their age.
This is a pretty nice car for its age, low kilometres, long rego, mechanically good, overall condition is above average, and it still turns heads. I even tow my trailer with it.
The convertible is located at Tanilba Bay 2319 (near Newcastle Airport). Bank Deposit or Cash on pick up are my preferred options.
Good luck bidding.
