BMW is known as the ultimate driving machine and you will enjoy hassle free motoring in this vehicle just as I have.
This car has a powerful 6 cylinder 2.5 litre engine. Still very economical getting around 8-9 litres/100km.
Car is in amazing condition!!! Photos look a bit grundgy because I haven't given it a good clean in a few weeks. Owned for the last five years by a European car mechanic, has been maticulicly looked after and always kept running in beautiful condition. At the start of the year it had a full top to bottom service, all the gaskets, seals, filters, fluids etc replaced. We did the Valve Cover Gasket – it didn't need doing but it is a common problem on these cars with this amount of KMs so we did it just to be sure. Everything is running right, the engine is strong with no defects or warning signals and the transmission is tight and changes smoothly.
The km’s are a bit high but they are all country km’s.. I live 300k’s out of Melbourne and frequent trips to Melbourne and a few to Sydney have run them up.
It has the sport multi media entertainment system with a 6 stacker CD player, DVD player, GPS, Photos, Live TV, Internet, Bluetooth, SD card, AUX and much more!!! 18’’ Alloy sport wheels, side curtain air bags and map⁄reading lamps. Climate control air conditioning. Cruise control that holds up or down hills, rain sensor wipers and automatic headlamps. automatic Sunroof Rear parking assistance gives you the extra confidence when reversing through its distance signalling alerts. Equipped with ABS brakes. This car is an absolute dream to drive with 5 star ANCAP safety rating.
Has exterior LED down lighting on all door handles at night illuminating your approach. Has starter button, front & rear power windows, front and rear fog lamps. Has tilt & reach adjustable steering wheel. 2nd row split folding seats, multi-function steering wheel, side air bags and 5 x 3pt seatbelts. Has electronic stability control (ESC).
As I said its been well cared for and kept running right - The only trouble this car has given us is a seat belt/air bag warning light that came on about 2 years ago, it turned out to be the seat belt tensioner which was faulty and was replaced – fine now!
Also a tyre warning light, but it just wasn't reset after they had changed the tyres – Also fine!
And we had a rattle coming from underneath a while back – it was a bracket holding the under body guard in place had slipped out and was rattling on the exhaust – easy fixed!
Only problems I can think of that it has is the Bluetooth is a bit slow when you are pairing a new device. And the rear brakes are only about 40% they will need doing sometime soon (I will do them myself if I have it much longer)
