Description
2003 BMW M3 Convertible SMG
Carbon-black with black leather interior
Have had this car for a little over a year. Clean title. It's fun and fast however we got a new family car and we need the space in the garage. Hard to put two small children in car seats in the back although they do fit! Since owning it I've done the following:
-New Hankook tires
-Oil change
-New rear diff (out of donor car) and rear diff bushings. (I have the original diff that you can have but keep in mind it weighs like 100 lbs)
-Added one of those Eonon GPS systems. It works with steering wheel etc (still have the OEM stereo too that will come with the car)
-Installed halo eyes
-Convertible top motor was also replaced by the dealer when I bought the car
-Had the airbag recall done during my ownership. SMG works great. I don't have much history on the car since I got it from a used car dealer and they had no prior records so I am not sure about Vanos, rod-bearing, or rear subframe. Regardless car runs smooth and I haven't seen any oil leaks from below.
It is lowered on KW coil overs. Has Borla exhaust which sounds great. Only things that I haven't fixed are a recent leak in the windshield washer tank since the light came on, I tried looking but would probably have to remove bumper? Also the oil temp sensor needs replacing, I didn't realize it until I changed the oil when I got it and knowing you need to drain the oil to replace I was waiting until the next time. The TPMS sometimes illuminates likely due to the larger wheels and tires but I just hold the button down and it resets.
Car is located in California, I have a recent smog test completed and it passed without problems
