I've owned this car for the last 10 years and it was always serviced and genuine BMW parts used. The car failed its MOT 2 yrs ago after I'd just had it serviced at BMW. It needs new bodywork panels (sills etc..) underneath which was quoted at a cost of roughly £2,800 by BMW ( @ £120 per hour labour rate ). After much thought I have decided to part with my M3.
Selling a 1998 (although not registered till Sep 99') Bmw Evo saloon in Avus Blue Metallic, with only 87,500 genuine miles.
Full Dealership history, 6 (six) speed gearbox withe the Evolution engine @ 321 BHP , cruise control , silver nappa leather seats with burr walnut trim on the door handles and dash. Electric windows x 4 , electric front seats ( but NOT heated ). electric sunroof, rear blind, privacy glass, BMW Premium sound system with 6 CD changer and cassette/radio. Factory fitted alarm and tracker monitor
Exterior wise all wheel arch panels need replacing ( in my view ), there is rust appearing on the o/s/f and n/s/r doors and boot lid, the bonnet also has some scratches. 17" genuine Bmw alloys in good condition, the spare is like new. I do have another set (4) of genuine alloys which will need refurbishment (they were polished). (These would be at extra cost).
This is a very reluctant sale due to lack of time and other commitments , otherwise she'd be put away and restored to pristine condition in years to come.
