Description
16-year member of the BMW Car Club of America selling a beautiful E39 M5.
I bought this 2001 M5 in January 2014 with ~56,000 miles on the car from Tony Tillman at GT3 Auto in San Diego California. The car now has ~79,900 (a little less actually) and I am now putting it up for sale to put cash down on a 997 GT3. Nearly all of the miles have been highway miles between coasts and Pittsburgh / Philadelphia. She runs flawlessly and has required minimal maintenance during the time I've owned her--This has been a really great car for me and I think she will serve her next owner well. Since purchasing the car, I've serviced her through P&W BMW in Pittsburgh, PA, Thompson BMW in Doylestown, PA, and Zygmunt Motors in Doylestown, PA. Chris from Zygmunt knows the car and recently put new tires on it for me--If there is interest I can arrange a call with Chris to talk about the car.
Most E39 M5's are either priced too high (30+k for low miles specimens), are pieces of crap with high milage, or are salvage/flood titles. Given the condition / milage of this car and the current market for E39 M5's, I believe I am pricing this car fairly; but, I am open to entertaining bids (private or otherwise) from interested parties. Bid with confidence, this is a very clean specimen and a great car--I have put ~25k miles on this car and it has never once given me an issue!
