Description
Great chance to get the Legendary E60 M5 at a fraction of the price due to a low Canadian dollar. This will be my last attempt to sell before winter.
This car is currently up for sale at a local dealer for anyone that is looking to finance within Canada. For those in the US, they can also assist with shipping and fees/delivery.
This is originally a US car, so you do not have to worry about meeting any safety or emissions standards. You would be liable for a 2.5% tax to import back to the US which even if the car sold for 30K wouldn't be more than $750
NOTE:

A lover of cars, I've always meticulously cared for my cars. Understand that I am not selling this car because I don't like it, its bitter sweet. This is most likely the best car I will ever own. A change in Marital status and wanting to clear up some financials is the only reason for the sale, otherwise I'd be enjoying the sweet sound of that V10 on a daily basis! If anything I'm someone who gives more info than you need, I hate people who expect to sell a car with 3 lines of information. Seriously?
This M5 has not seen any winters and has had no accidents and has a clean car fax, which is in the pics.
Considered the fastest sedan in the world when it was released, the M5 is legendary and still a killer of many of today's cars. Speed and Class in the perfect package.
I'm sure you know this but if not, basics on the car and features are at the end of the listing.
Lets get to the car shall we. I have great pictures but they only tell some of the story, let me add some details.
Exterior Condition:
Exterior as shown in the picture is amazing. All original paint. Although barely noticeable the only blemishes are small rock chips on the hood as the car is a 2008 but thanks to the Silverstone II paint, it really hides it. Outside of that, well maintained paint that was detailed often.
Interior Condition:
The interior is near perfect as well. Leather is well conditioned, no cracks or tears. Brushed Aluminum accents which look great, only wear I would note is on the steering wheel which is a common wear spot on the M5. As shown in the pictures, its minimal. My M5 mats are in decent shape but a new set on Ebay for $125 would have the interior at a 10
Service/Maintenance:
The main thing when it comes to an M5 is the proper maintenance. You can get stuck with a lemon from the get go, but if you didn’t it’s all a matter of the proper maintenance to keep everything running properly. I had a Warranty on this car up until August so everything has been up kept.
In the last 6 months (New Alternator, New Battery, New Control Arm Bushings, New Rear Tires and an Oil Change)
This is also an LCI version, so updates to the Vanos system and a facelift on the interior and exterior compared to the 06/07. You want to stay away from the 06/07 in my opinion although I know many that are running great!
Mods/Extras:
I didn't do much as the car is great on its own.
-H&R Springs (stock springs included)
-Red RPI Ram Air intake Scoops
-Black Front M Grill
-Black M side grills
-20" Wheels
-15mm spacers front and rear.
-Mild Borla Exhaust that was on the car when purchased, won't wake up the neighbors or anything. Just a bit deeper than stock, perfect.
My M5 is loaded with many standard and optional features such as: power seats with memory, a sunroof, park distance control (PDC), adaptive headlights, the Executive Package which includes a navigation system, a Harman Kardon sound system (13 speakers) heated seats, an EDC (electronic damper control) system, a rear sunshade and more.
It is equipped with a Getrag SMG III single-clutch 7-speed semi-automatic transmission. This lightning quick transmission can be automated or manual but the most interesting features is its ability to set the speed at which shifts are completed. There are 11 shift settings in total, forming what BMW calls "Drivelogic". As with some of its predecessors, the E60 generation BMW M5 was considered the fastest sedan in the world at the time of its release.
Last things
Not much else to note. Outside of barely noticeable rock chips in front, one of the rear wheels, the chome lip has some peel to it. I actually wanted to powdercoat the lips black so it never really bothered me.
