1971 BMW 2800CS
This car came to us recently as donation and we are handling getting it sold for a local charity, therefore we have limited information on the car and encourage anyone interested to come by and check it out or send someone by on your behalf, we are located approximately 20 miles east of San Francisco. Having said that the car came to us from the person who owned it since 1987 and has had it stored since 94. the registration is on PNO so there are no back fees and since it is a 71 it is not required to pass a smog test. Since it arrived here we put a battery in it and fresh gas it starts up runs and drives although it does run a little rough and would surely benefit from a complete tune up and service. there is a dent on the front panel just above the grill and the paint is an older inexpensive respray(there is paint on the window gaskets and it is peeling away in areas-see pics) and it very faded and appears to have had parts repainted as some areas have not faded consistent with other areas. The interior looks to be in good condition and useable as it is. All four tires will need to be replaced, they are very old and very worn. As far as rust goes there are a couple of bubbled areas(see pics) and there is also rust in the spare tire stowage area(see pic).
