This is our BMW X3 2.0d Sport 6sp Manual. It's finished in Cosmos Black with Sensatec Leather Interior, and is the rarer, more sought after Sport model, with the factory Sport package which includes M-Sport suspension, 18" Alloy wheels, side steps, sport seats, anthracite headlining, Shadowline exterior etc, etc.
It's been our family car for just over a year, and in which we've covered almost 9,000 trouble free miles. It's also just passed it's MOT, first time, with no advisory notices whatsoever.
It's very quick,yet surprisingly economical with almost 50 mpg achievable, if driven sympathetically. I also think it's probably one of the best driving SUV's on the market; it handles and goes like a sports car, but equally deals with snow and ice with ease. It's also got an extremely large boot, and with the rear seats folded, its almost as big as a van, and ideal for trips to the local tip (or should I say recycling centre!). Incidentally, its never had a tow bar fitted, although it would make an excellent tow vehicle if it had one!
As this has been out family car, driven mainly by my wife, and used to ferry the kids around, I've ensured it's been properly maintained. In the past year, the following have been carried out:

This version of the X3 (up to 2004) features the much more reliable, and well proven M47 engine, which also runs a cam chain, designed to last the life of the engine, so as a result there's no worries with timing (cam) belts etc. This is a widely used engine, and can run up to very high mileages without any problems; it's not unusual to see them having covered over a quarter of a million miles.
(Note later 2004 on versions of the X3 diesel had the troublesome N47 engine which has a reputation of breaking timing chains, and subsequently destroying itself.)
All books, manuals etc are present, there's six stamps in the service book, the last at 120,606 miles. There's also a large file of documentation (old MOT's, invoices etc), and two working remote keys too. The car is also totally HPI clear, with a certificate to prove.

The car is in excellent condition, however please do bare in mind this is not a new vehicle, so does have the usual age related marks. That said, when polished up, it looks absolutely stunning, and has the look of a much more expensive vehicle.
Everything works as it should, and it drives like a dream too.
I may (stress may!) possibly consider a PX or possible swap for either a Classic Mercedes, BMW or Saab, or a good low mileage Mercedes B-Class.
