Description
You are bidding on a 1973 Fiat 850 Sport Spider. This is the most rust-free Fiat 850 I’ve ever
seen. I couldn’t find any rust holes
anywhere on the car, top or bottom. Even
the battery tray is rust-free. It does
not appear to have ever been involved in an accident either.
The previous owner began to take the car apart for a complete restoration, but all he actually did was remove some of the superficial stuff, like door handles, badges, etc. The items he did remove are mostly in the boxes of parts that you see in the pictures.
You'll notice that this car has the optional, VERY desirable Chromodora wheels on it. These usually sell for around $250 each.
The car was in running condition when the previous owner began his restoration, but it was getting tired, he said. I believe the engine will still turn over, as it would do so a couple years ago when I got it, and it’s been inside my warehouse ever since then.
I expect payment within 5 days of the end of the auction. The car can be picked up after your check has cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer will be given a Bill of Sale and the open Florida Title I received when I bought the car.
