Description

Very clean low mileage 1974 Buick Electra Limited 2 door. Green exterior and green interior. I purchased this car from Washington State where it had sat for a very long time in covered storage. It was filthy and in need of minor repairs. I installed new dual exhaust, new battery, oil, filter and transmission service as well as countless hours on a a complete detail. It has been resurrected to be my summer time old car cruiser however I recently purchased a 2016 Ford Platinum F250 and a little extra money certainly would help ease the pain of that purchase. This is a 59,000 mile original car and I have yet to find any sign of body repairs however I did replace the quarter extensions with fiberglass ones but they will need paint to match perfectly. The paint shines very very well however does show signs of normal wear and tear, nicks, chips and blemishes. I would not say it needs a paint job, maybe touch up here or there to be show quality. The paint is a strong 7-8 out of 10 in my opinion. I have owned several Electras and this is by far the nicest one. All the chrome trim shines nicely. The bumpers are in very good condition. The tires are in good condition and the car is equipped with a engine block heater. The fender mount blinkers are working.
The Landau top is in fair conditon. It presents very well from 5 feet however has several small circle looking splits in it. I would not replace it unless you wanted a show car. It is in fine conditon for a driver and does not leak.
This is a Limited with a tow package as well, this combo with the green color combination makes this a fairly rare car.
The undercarriage is in good condition. The brake lines, fuel lines, frame rails, floor boards and trunk pan are all also in good conditon.
The big block 455 runs phenomenal and starts right up and idles perfect. The choke works as well. The engine compartment is clean and the oil has been changed. This is equipped with air conditioning however the belt recently broke on me and I have not replaced it. The engine or transmission do not leak.
The interior is in very good condition with only minor blemishes. The 8 track player works great as do the heater controls. All the power windows, power locks, and power seats work as well. Even the rear blower/defroster works!!! The back seat and rear carpet look like they have had very little to no use or wear. There is a very minor crack in the dash and a blemish mark on the glovebox from a previously installed decal.
This 74 Limited 2 door is in excellent running, driving conditon and is ready for any cruise in or car show if you do not mind a few minor blemishes here and there. I am particular about my vehicles and that is why I try and describe them in great detail. This is not a Barret Jackson style car or a trailer queen however it is a very clean and shiney fine example of a 1974 Buick Electra Limited 2 door.
I have described this vehicle in great detail however I am more than willing to answer any questions you may have or send any extra photos to serious buyers. Please only bid, inquire or buy if you are serious about buying. I have set the reserve at a fair and reasonable price for a prompt sale and am not asking "classic car dealer" pricing.
I am more than willing to assist with a shipper however the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. This car is also available for sale locally. Look around and see many are asking alot more for these cars that need large amounts of work.
Bid or buy with confidence. I can't see how any new owner would be disappointed with this ride. It's a super cool car and looks great. Thanks and good luck
