Description
This is a recent barn find that has been cleaned of the usual dust and grime that one might see in other adverts. It was owned by Grand Dad for many years before it was dispersed to his grand son who passed it on to me. It is a very rare Canadian produced Buick Century model which is the version that used the small Special body along with the larger Roadmaster 320 cubic inch engine and front sheet metal. Along with some better factory rear axle gearing, this car was advertised as being able to achieve 100 mph - - hence the Century name. One of the first muscle cars!
After a very long term storage, I was able to simply put a battery in it and along with some fresh gas, and it started right up and runs very smoothly and strong. It was converted to 12 volts many years ago but the lights have not been connected so bulbs may have to be changed. The brakes need attention. The body is in excellent condition with solid floors and sheet metal everywhere. All applicable keys come with the car except for the drivers door lock. The car has a clear Ontario title. I had purchased this car with the intent of parting it out but it is just too good for that. With minimal investment, it could be made a driver that would get a lot of attention at old car shows and cruises.
