Description
I found this car in a barn east of Turlock CA. It is a one family owned car from new. It spent its whole life in the Turlock area.
It was parked inside the barn in 1976 after the brakes gave out. My original intention was to part it out but after all the dust and dirt was washed off i realized it deserves to be restored. I have too many projects and can't give it the attention it deserves. It doesn't run but i was told the engine was rebuilt a few years before it was driven into the barn. So, it may run with a bit of work
It has a very solid body and frame . It has never been repainted. The only rust i have found is in the front floors (see pic) drivers side has a hole about 1" x 2". The passenger side is about 6"x 6". I was going to patch not replace. The trunk is in excellent shape. Rockers are also very good.
Kids on the farm shot out all the glass with a pallet gun. Only the vent glass and r/h rear glass remain. All I've done to it iswash it and give it a coat of wax to stop surface rust forming.
THE BAD
Missing the lower r/h windshield molding , door flippers, rocker moldings. I have the roof antenna.
Broken Grill mustache .
THE GOOD
First year of the nailhead. Full history of the car from new. 4 new tires.
Car will be sold with a bill of sale. No title but i can get a clear CA title at buyers expense if required
I have described the car to the best of my ability. Inspections are welcomed. Please email any questions
