This 1971 Buick Riviera Gran Sport (GS), has a 455 Cubic Inch Engine, with 370 Horsepower at 4,600 RPM’s, delivering 455 foot pounds of Torque at 2,800 RPM’s, with a 400 Turbo Automatic Transmission. In 1971 Buick’s opinion, “the most daring new car design in recent history.” It’s boat tail shaped rear end and innovative detail to design and styling make the Riviera GS out to be a classic collectors vehicle. Only 1 of 1,676 total GS production models, it is as rare as it is unique. A Full Body, engine out, and Full Underbody Restoration has been completed. Fully Loaded with Power Windows, Door Locks and Driver Side Seat, Rear Defog, Tilt Wheel, Max Trac and Climate Control. The legendary Buick Boat Tail Riviera was only produced for three years from 1971 to 1973 and this one is a beauty.
