Description
First buyer was a SCAM. 1965 Buick Riviera. PLEASE INQURE PRIOR TO BIDDING. Buyer responsible for shipping and transport.
Regarded by most as THE most highly sought after year of the Buick Rivera. This one year only, 1965 model includes the Clam Shell headlights. After hundreds and hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars invested, After 6 years, It’s time for my labor-of-love to move onto a new owner to enjoy. It would be easier for me to say what this car needs as opposed to what has not been restored, refurbished or replaced. This Rivi is almost at the finish line and gets TONS of attention everywhere I drive it.
THIS RIVI WAS BUILT AS A RESTOMOD DRIVER
-BUICK 430 MOTOR
-TH-400 TRANSMISSION
(power windows, steering, seat, and Bluetooth radio)
To start, it needs:
-Clam shells are complete, but not functioning as I was waiting for paint and body adjustments
-Paint and Body this is simply a primer coating with clear coat over it. Some peeling is occurring.
-This Rivi is ready for your choice of aftermarket A/C, e.g. Vintage Air, RestoAir, etc.
-Bumpers need to be re-chromed
-No headliner, but I have a quality matching replacement. Again, was waiting on paint and body to adjust small roof dent..
-Couple other gremlins I can discuss with you when we talk. I have yet to sort them out, but nothing major. e.g. speedo cable, bad ground on a tail light, horn stopped working.
New/Modified/Upgraded that I can recall (I have a folder FULL of receipts):
-Upgraded to Wilwood front disc conversion
-New suspension bushings
-Adjustable Coil-Overs in front
-Adjustable shocks in the rear
-New coil springs all the way around
-New custom wheels and tires
-Complete rear drum brake rebuild
-New custom brake lines
-Flushed and painted gas tank
-Re-chromed interior headliner trim pieces
-Entire car sanded down to the metal
-Sand blasted suspension components
-Upgraded sway bar
-New engine wiring harness
-New QUALITY package tray
-New seat upholstery
-Rebuilt power seat motor
