1969 Buick Riviera Coupe.
This beautiful Buick is LHD and it originates from the rust free dry climate of Johannesburg in South Africa and imported to Brisbane a year ago. It has immaculate light blue paint work. It is unknown if original or resprayed but there is no evidence of overspray so we suspect that to match the beautiful glass, chrome and blue interior that the car has been garaged under cover all its life. One would assume that beautiful cars like this dont get left out in the street in South Africa. Have a look at the VIN and engine numbers - matching numbers folks - this is one cared for unit.
With 1969 models you get the crosshatch pattern grill with the 4 headlights mounted in a hidden position up and under the bonnet above the grill and drop down in front of grill when lights are turned on. This is the most striking feature of this beautiful "executive muscle" coupe that the Riviera is known for. This is also the first model of the turnkey on the steering wheel that engaged steering wheel lock on key removal.
Come and test drive this super original car that hasn't been modified in any way. This unmolested car looks as original as the year of manufacture and if the best time warp of this model I have ever seen. If this is what you seek in a car then this car is for you.
We have priced this very reasonably and with a heated auction arena on purchase we didn't buy this one very smartly and had to pay up more than anticipated and hence the buyer will get a win from us selling this on at what is actually below landed cost here in Brisbane.
