1941 Buick Series 40

This Buick underwent a true total frame-off restoration 2008 around 10 years ago. Every part of the frame, suspension, steering and power train is new or rebuilt. It comes with extensive photo catalog documenting the restoration, step by step. Starting with an extremely solid, rust free "sedanette" body from the mid west, every surface was refinished and shines like a piece of glass. The interior was redone with period correct material. The steering was updated to power rack and pinion. The engine is a 1954 Buick 322 CI "nailhead" V-8, totally rebuilt less than 1200 miles ago. The transmission is also 1954 Buick Dynaflow automatic, also completely rebuilt approximately 1200 miles ago. To be comfortable on cruises air conditioning was added. There is an AM/FM sterio. The vacuum windshield could use upgrade to electric. It runs and drives very well because everything is either "new" or rebuilt!
All the glass is perfect. All the chrome and stainless is great also. To finish it off, a period correct windshield visor was added.
Note; Copy of the original "Certified Appraisel" dated 09/2008 (Value at time $37,600.) after frame off restoration is available with car.
Car is kept in a "climate controlled" garage in Waveland, Miss.
