1954 Buick 40 SpecialV8 Automaticair Ride Suspension

This Buick 40 has the classic styling of the era. This is very well restored example of a 50’s classic. Buick’s Special was all-new for 1954, with a wider and lower stance, a less pronounced rear fender hump, blunt tailfins, new steering linkage, and better power steering. The mid-size model was the best-selling Buick, and was offered at a two-door sedan, a two-door Riviera hardtop (itself the best-selling Special for the year), Hardtops and convertibles had rounded rear wheel arches. All body styles had trim over the top of the arch, as well as three ventiports and a striking waterfall grille.
Under the hood, this Special is powered by a new 264-cid V-8 engine that generated 150 hp when mated to the Dynaflow automatic shifter.
This vehicle’s paint is in like NEW condition showing No signs of wear and shines and displays very well. The finished is above average and displays well. Vehicle has the classic factory appearance. No major body panels appear to have been replaced and body appears in a very solid condition. The stainless and Chrome on this vehicle has either been replaced with NOS items or highly polished to like new condition, only a few minor pitting was seen on a very few trim pieces. This vehicle displays well and shows it has been cared for.
Custom interior upholstery, beautifully restore dash and steering column, Interior displays as new and is well cared for with no signs of wear. The Buick shows the care that it has received during the restoration process. The carpets are in very good condition.
Vehicle has high end aftermarket wire wheels & tires that are in like new condition.
This vehicle retains its stock drivetrain in top running condition. The Buick has new Air Ride suspension upgrades with the system in the trunk. New custom exhaust system. The motor runs strong and show no signs of any needed repairs. All wiring harnesses are in good condition. Records show a very well maintained drive train with no abuse. Transmission shifts well, and functions properly. All lights function properly, Wipers are in working order. Power accessories all were found in working order. Overall this Buick is a well preserved classic in well above average condition.
