1938 Buick Businessmans Coupe(Sloper ) Series 40Unfinished Project.

For sale is unfinished project of this 1938 Buick Sloper. Series 40.
Has had body off full restoration of rolling chassis, suspension, brakes, engine, gearbox and diff.
Engine is 0.040 " oversize, with new pistons, timing chain and sprockets, oil pump gears, water pump , main bearings and bottom bearings slipper shells fitted.
Radiator re-cored, new exhaust and muffler.
Optima battery fitted with isolator switch, NOS generator fitted .
Engine can be heard running.
Body turret has been sandblasted and all rust cut out and metal repaired,
Painted in PPG Dulon AAA Mixed Colour, Midnight Black. (Approx 5 litres remaining)
Boot lid and spare wheel cover done.
Rear guards sandblasted primed and sealed but need rust repair.
Speedo overhauled and all gauges working, instrument panel and glove box painted with nice clock.
Rest of car is to be done, all parts are there and spare front guards, bonnet, side engine panels, repro map light , gear knob and ash tray knobs.
Also included is a top quality re-chromed grill and two new stainless external door handles, one locking.
