img{max-width:100%}This 1966 Buick Skylark Gran Sport is a red-over-white convertible powered by original MR-code 401ci Nailhead V8 about 350HP , which is equipped with dual four-barrel carburetors and paired with correct NK code Super Turbine 300 two-speed automatic transmission. The runs and drives great with no known issues everything works as it should.Additional features include a ten-bolt limited-slip differential, a white soft top, an electronic ignition, Rallye-style wheels, tubular headers, Bucket seats a center console, and a Pioneer AM/FM radio. The car was assembled at GM’s Baltimore, Maryland facility and underwent a frame-off restoration during previous ownership, which included rebuilding the powertrain, repainting the exterior, and refreshing the two-tone interior.Recent service includes rebuilding the carburetors, performed an oil change, and replaced the fuel pump with ethanol friendly parts. 1 of of 2047 GS convertibles built in 1966 .Comes with a convertible boot cover, spare convertible top fabric, a build sheet, service records,Rebuilding parts labor receipts and a clean New Jersey title.The body is originally Flame Red (R1) according to the trim tag the frame was refinished separately. Exterior features include rechromed bumpers, polished rocker-panel trim, VentiPort strips on the front fenders, Gran Sport badging, and a white convertible top, the latter of which has a hole from getting pinched I am including a brand new KEE's brand top which will need to be installed. A color-coordinated boot cover and replacement convertible top fabric are included in the sale.Rallye-style 14″ wheels are wrapped in 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. A matching spare and jacking equipment are stored in the trunk.The car was delivered from the factory with Dove (193) upholstery, and the interior was retrimmed with Legendary material. Equipment includes manually operated windows, a Pioneer AM/FM radio, and a center console housing the two-speed shifter. The rebuilt 401ci Nailhead V8 is equipped with dual four-barrel carburetors and tubular headers, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt Super Turbine 300 switch pitch two-speed automatic transmission and a ten-bolt Positraction differential equipped with 2.93:1 gearing. Maintenance completed within the past 100 miles included a rebuild of the carburetors, and oil change, and replacement of the fuel pump. Identification stampings are provided in the photos below.A build sheet is provided in the pics, and decoding the Fisher body tag reveals the following information:
