1969 Buick Skylark Convertible

This vintage convertible was driven off the car lot on January 16, 1969 by my father-in-law, who kept the car in the family until now! My wife still has happy memories of cruising around town as a child with the top down and her hair flying in the wind. This is the first time this classic has ever hit the open market. It stayed in the family all of these years, until a family member recently passed away. Now, for the first time in its life, this car is ready for a new owner.
The car is in very good original condition and comes with a factory build sheet, original window sticker, original warranty card, and a file full of all receipts. This muscle car was well built in Fremont, California and has stayed in California for much of its life. The engine is a 350 with a factory upgraded four-barrel carburetor. The transmission is a smooth shifting automatic, and this muscle car also comes with an original tilt steering wheel. This Buick has never been in an accident with another vehicle. It once scraped up against a concrete median and required body work on the driver side for repair. The interior is all original and does have a few tears. The odometer has turned over, and now shows just over 17,000 miles. We believe the miles are at least 117,000+. It is possible that the odometer turned over twice, but I am not sure. A pair of custom sheepskin covers comes with the car in order to protect the seats from any further aging. The automatic top opener works beautifully and has a few small rips. The paint looks great and does have a few tiny chips. The original build sheet , window sticker, and original warranty card are included in photos. The car is currently registered in California and the DMV fees have been paid through 6/2022, Other documents, including documented original ownership information are available upon request.
