Up for Auction a my 1970 Buick GS 455 matching numbers Ram Air / Big Block. This car is a True Survivor that has been treated to one repaint in it's original Bamboo color. It's had three owners in its lifetime, me being the third. The original 455 power plant operates excellently no oil leaks or oil burning. The complete matching numbers drive train is still intact and unmolested right down to the carburetor. Turbo 400 transmission is matched with a 12 bolt rear end. Brand new dual exhaust from front to rear, Brakes, Brake Lines, Complete tune-up with all new belts and hoses. The body is straight and shows extremely well. The front floor pans are solid. The trunk pan is also solid. The glass and windows are in very nice condition, and all handles and cranks work properly. All gauges are in working order, Speed Alarm, Rear view mirror map light, Trunk Light, key alert buzzer in working order. The interior is in overall great condition including the headliner the carpeting is brand new, refurbished Original Sonomatic radio and bezel. The engine has its original carburetor that has been rebuilt. The car still has it's original Ram Air intake set up intact. The chrome is in very nice condition with the rear bumper having a few scratches in it. Original Buick factory mags including spare. The tires are in excellent to near new condition. The original steering wheel has been replace with a more sportier looking wood wheel with Buick center horn button. The original steering wheel is in a box and comes with the car. The car tracks straight and true and stops as it should. The original owners manual and build sheet that proves the car to be authentic comes with the car. The numbers stamped behind the power steering pump do in fact match the vin on the top of the dashboard drivers side. (see pictures) Rear end as well as transmission tag are shown in pictures. The vinyl roof is in excellent condition with no rot or rust underneath.
Please know that this car is not being represented as a trailer queen, However, it's a beautiful unmolested truly rare and mostly original Buick GS muscle car.
