Always gets attention and many pictures
1956 Buick Special Estate Wagon
These bodies were built for Buick by IONIA Manufacturing in Michigan
older restoration done in the 90's with some wear.
Original 322 nailhead V8
Automatic Transmission
Runs great
Runs cool
Been on the highway without issue
Dual exhaust
Power Steering
Power Brakes
Removable rear skirts
Clock works but needs to be adjusted either faster or slower to keep time
New shock front
New coil over shocks rear
New King pins
New front wheel bearings
Could use the steering gearbox rebuild (approx. $400)
Gauges work except speedometer
All windows roll up and down as they should
Drivers window crack but comes with replacement
Turn signals don't work
Tail, brake and headlights work
Overall solid California car with some paint bubbling
Seats in great condition
Passenger side front seat lower plastic cracked but repairable
Rear tailgate and upper hatch are solid and work great
Upper hatch handle is present but missing the locking mechanism
Headliner is excellent
