1993 Cadillac Allante convertible

1993 was the last year of the Cadillac Allante, and to me it was the best year. A very powerful Northstar engine (not to be confused with the problematic Northstars from later years), redesigned body to stiffen the chassis and a new brake system. The 1993 Allante was selected to be the Pace Car for the 1992 Indy 500 and 36 93 models were sent to the track in this same color combination: Hawaiian Orchard with Neutral interior (though this is not one of them, I do own one that was!). This car has been completely gone through by my mechanic and any drive-ability problems have been corrected. The car does need a few items addressed-there is a rip in the drivers seat (New seat skins are available from Allante Source-not covers, replacements of original and easy to do-there is a video on their website). The top rear pulldown works when it wants-I think the gear may be stripped as the motor turns. Available as well. The sunvisor mirror frames are damages-as they are on most of these cars, but reproductions are available. There are no burned pixels in the DIC (dash info center). Top front pulldowns, window switches, trunk pull down and antenna all work-they are often problems as well. Body and paint are very good, as is the interior minus the drivers seat. The drivers seat belt latch is broken, so cannot be used-I have a new replacement but due to health issues I can no longer do this work (or I would have done the seat over). I have fourteen Allantes and am selling some to pay for two upcoming weddings, plus I cannot get into them very easily anymore. This car came from Kentucky so no new England weather.
