Description
For Sale Cadillac Fleetwood Coupe. 2 door. Not Coupe Deville.
This carcarries a different VIN prefix than a Coupe Deville and a 4 doorFleetwood and is very hard to find in any condition.
Only about 2,300made in 1980. Original 368 had an exhaust leak from a broken head tomanifold bolt. I pulled it out and replaced with a 500.
1975 500 C.I.engine has been installed with original fuel system. 83XXX miles on carabout 50K on engine which is all original bore and crank sizes.
Rebuiltin 1991. Quadrajet carburetor. No computer engine controls.Turbo 400transmission in great shape. 2.41:1 rear axle. 12 bolt ring and pinionin 10 bolt case.
Midas oversized exhaust with turbo muffler and moderncatalytic converter. Brakes work well and have been kept up on, Tiresdon't leak but they are older and do not grip well in rain.
Cadillacfactory alloy black rims under hubcaps for maximum ride quality. Hub caps are from 1988because they are lightweight. Originals included.Drives well, driveanywhere. I used this for work and drove about 5k miles a year. Veryreliable. Recent alternator, battery, starter, fuel pump and acceleratorpump.
Original never hacked AC system. Will need AC compressorreplaced. Compressor and brackets for AC included in sale.
All originallevel ride system is in place and working fine. Body is very solid withpaint failure on most surfaces. All Fleetwood Coupe specific parts arethere and in good condition.
Fly in drive it anywhere. Interior needsdash cover, arm rest work, seat leather is faded but might cleanup. Thiscar needs a lot of cosmetic TLC but should clean up well.
Someonebacked into RF fender see pix. Straight replacement fender included insale.
Clear parking lights are from 1983 Fleetwood because I like thelook. Original amber Fleetwood parking lights are included. Body color =Sandstone.
Always adult owned.
Second owner, clean title in hand. First ownerselected this car at a car show in 1980-1/2 where it was introduced asthe new body style.
1980 Fleetwood Coupe models do NOT suffer from the rust underneath thevinyl where the roof meets the body. Most later ones seem to rust rightthere.
