Description

This is a 2006 Cadillac CTS with 98526 miles on the body of the car and approximately 45000 on the engine. The original 3.6L V6 was swapped with an LS2 6.0L V8 taken out of a 2006 Corvette in April of 2013. Below is a list of the modifications on the car. There are a few things that need attention if the buyer is to make this car complete. The only major issue is that the AC compressor has not been reinstalled after the engine swap. The compressor, along with the sending and receiving lines and belt are all in great shape and sold with the car. The condenser has been capped off since I purchased the car, but has never been removed. Minor issues are the passenger seat heater does not function, I don't know if it is because it is broken or a fuse issuenever checked out. Also, the cruise control doesn't function either, this may in fact be a very easy and quick fix once knowledge is gained on the car. This car is a blast to drive and has more power and speed than 99% of the cars out on the road today. I purchased the car in August of 2013 wanting a daily driver and something that I could have fun working on. In March of this year it was hit by the massive hail storm that rolled through Denton. There are dents all over the car, but the windows were not damaged and the drivability was not effected in any way. If the buyer chooses to have the dents repaired, then the salvage label will be lifted off the vehicle.it's as simple as that. The handling is fantastic, it drives straight and the tires were brand new at the time of purchase (about 6000 miles on them). The plugs and wires were replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced, and it was electronically tuned on a dyno in November of 2013. It puts out 423HP@5100RPM along with 405FP of torque. I did not do the swap work on the car, but whomever built it did a pro job because this car is solid and extremely powerful. Taking into account the hail damage and the install on the AC unit, this will be a great deal for the right buyer out there. This car has the potential to be the ultimate sleeper for someone that wants to bring it the rest of the way, or a fantastic value on an LS2 Engine with mated components and suspension that work so well together.
