Description
Ive have been the the funeral business & hearse business for over 31 years and came across this but, I dont have time or storage until finished. Soo, having "LOSS OF SPACE" sale!!
Check out this 1 owner hearse all the way from the beautiful tropical Hawaiian Islands with only 43,000 miles. This 2001 Cadillac is built by Sayors & Scovall (S&S) who has been building funeral carriages since 1876. This hearse runs and drives great but has not gone threw our cleanup, touch up refurbish program due to too many newer hearses, higher end cars coming in and with a loss of one of our storage facilities puts me short on storage/parking so its being offered "AS-IS" with all faults known & unknown..
Good side
*Clean straight tight grey drivers compartment, carpets with nothing broken, faded or missing.
*Casket bay is nice, not torn with nice headliner, drapes & door panels. All lighting works as it should.
* Door locks, alarm, windows, seats, radio all work as they should.
BODY/EXTERIOR.
Original cotillion white paint still shines nice but, could use a real strong detail to remove some water spots.
* All doors open and close nice. No rust in any door post, bottoms of doors or body panels, hinges or sills. Actually very clean.
* Vinyl top could use a good strong cleaning. Not torn or cracked. Could use a quick gluing on a lower edge on drivers side rear about 3 inches. Glass is not broken. All 4 tires have really thick tread and look great. Motor starts right up and sounds really solid and smooth with no concerns.
* No check engine lights, just "brake" indicator light.
THE BADS..
*AC lines are nice & cold frosty but not blowing cold in the car. (suspect vacuum doors)
** Front brake "HUB" needs to be switched with "NEW HUB" supplied the sells for $800 from Cadillac. Extremely hard to locate for a commercial 8 lug hub for a hearse.
*** Rear bumper could us a good painting all around due to scuffs. All the rest of this 2001 is straight, not dents or gouges.
**** Vinyl top belt line needs a "body clip" for the chrome trim.
This by all means, is not junk, it just needs some time in which I do not have at the moment. With tons of potential and "time" someone can have a really nice low mileage car for many years of funeral home cemetery use
I have a clean "TITLE" in hand and ready to deal with serious "CASH-IN HAND" buyer. I can "assist" Land and over seas transportation. remember, its sold "AS-IS" where is
Located on the West side of Long Beach Ca and close to the ports. The airport codes are LGB for Long Beach and of course LAX for bigger flights.
In personal inspections are very welcome. Call for an appointment or any questions.. PHONE DOES NOT ACCEPT TEXT MESSAGES!! 562335+9427. Ask for Ronny Gee.
