1965 Cadillac Sedan DeVille
The car has been kept in a garage since I purchased it in Connecticut back in 2005 and now resides in Riverside, California. The previous owner purchased it from North Carolina and before that the car started life in Texas from my understanding. I still have the original owners manual. I was planning to do many things with this car but now after having 2 kids I do not have the time for a project car. The car runs and drives great! The engine was completely rebuilt about 10k miles ago and tires were replaced with 3 1/2" white walls about 10k miles ago. Some of the missing chrome pieces on the body I have but never put back on due to missing clips.There is some minor surface rust around the hood and trunk edges and the drivers side lower fender has a small section of rust bubbles. The mechanical fuel pump was replaced with an electronic fuel pump. Car is basically stock and ready for restoration or customization. Power steering pump has a small leak as well as the transmission. A/C doesn't work and heater works just needs a new selector lever. Door locks do not work due to a vacuum leak. All power windows with the exception of the back passenger window work and front power bench seat works fine. Needs interior work and all window, door, and trunk gaskets need to be replaced. The exhaust has a leak and only needs a gasket where the manifold meets the pipe to fix. Registration in California is good through March 2015. Buyer will be required to cover any shipping costs if not local to Riverside, CA.
