Description
1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado. 27,600 actual documented miles. Dry stored since 1983. It was still on the original General Tire radials when we found it last year. 100% as built, with no modifications. Dealer serviced until 1983.
Fully recommissioned. New tires, battery, fuel pump, tune up, alternator, muffler and starter.
We have driven it 600 miles since April, and it is ready to go anywhere you point it. It runs and drives like a new car, with such low miles. Everything is in working order, including the clock, signal seeking AM/FM stereo, electric antenna, and the cruise control. The Climate Control is functioning on heat, and vent, but I have not serviced the A/C. All of the lights work, inside and out and it has three of the original Guide Power Beam headlights.
It is mostly the original paint, and factory applied painted pinstripes. The interior is 100% original. The seats, dash, and the original door and window seals are still soft. It has the special hounds tooth seats, only available on the Coupes. The dash and steering wheel are perfect! The trunk is clean, and the jack and spare tire have never been out.
This car can do it all; judged survivor shows, weekend shows, or just enjoy driving it. Though I would love to keep it, and it is a pleasure to drive, I did not buy it to keep it. I bought it to return it to the road. It floats down the road like nothing else! Tight, quiet, no leaks, and no squeaks.
Clean title in my name, owners manual, brochure, and two sets of keys.
