Description
Cadillac Town Sedan, unfinished restoration project. A rare 7539 Cadillac Town Sedan. A little over 200 of these were made in the 5 years of production from 1936 to 1940. For those of you not familiar with a Town Sedan, this is a Town Car with the front closed in with a full roof instead of open for a chauffeur. It has the longer rear doors and windows than the limousines, and the rear quarter is closed in for privacy. I have spent over $6,000.00 on getting the chrome, grill and dashboard refinished. I paid 10 K for the car 10 years ago. I had the engine rebuilt but now have not started it in two years. All the bodywork was done and ready now for paint. This was a California car so has virtually no rust. It even has it's CA black tags from 1937.It comes with 4 new tires still wrapped. The doors, fenders and trunk are loosely put on the car to allow someone picking it up. The dashboard is absolutely stunning with a restoration from AllCads in Las Vegas. I am asking $15,000.00 but am open to offers. If you want a rare and prominent Cadillac project, this is it. John 202-498-1462 VIN 3131650
This is a serious Cadillac project that needs a serious owner. Please go away if you do not understand the what this project will entail and take to have a gem. As all of us car guys who have had auctions ruined over and over by careless people, I would appreciate serious bidders only.
