1962 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible
One of the most beautiful convertibles Cadillac ever produced. A real head-turner. Car has been in storage for about 35 years. Was owned by a San Diego artist, a close friend of mine, who last drove the car in 1986 after it developed some mechanical issues. The plan was to fix the issues and restore the car but that never happened. The car was stored outdoors in San Diego from '86 to '97, when it was transferred to a barn in Ramona, Calif., where it has gathered time-honored dust ever since. My friend passed away a few years ago and left the car to me. It will need total restoration as the photos would indicate. Odometer reads 71,356, but most likely has turned over once. Engine is complete but missing the carburetor. Front cowl piece is located in the trunk. Clear title. Have keys, some spare parts. Will be available for pickup in early August in Ramona, Calif. Email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them in a timely manner. I am not on site, however, and getting certain info. may take more time than usual. I will do my best to provide potential buyers with information so they can make an informed choice.
Sold as-is. Buyer assumes all shipping costs. Car will be moved from the barn to a private lot in Ramona for pickup. From there the car will need to be trailered/transported to its new home.
