Description
This is an all stock 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
I bought this a couple of years ago and but never got much done on it. Now I have acquired a few other cars (teenage drivers) and don't have room for this any more.I gave it a tuneup, replaced the driveshaft which was bent from a tire tread strike and fixed leaks from fuel tank gaskets and hoses, but that is about all I have done. The car will go and stop but has a knock which became worse on the last drive and I have not driven it since that got worse (about 6 months).
The Good
Transmission seems perfect
Powersteering perfect
All power windows and locks work
New drive shaft
All original all parts are on the car
Original paint
Clean Title
The Bad
Brakes work but slow return, probably needs booster rebuild
Engine all there but I believe it needs a rebuild
Some gauges don't work
Heater & AC - I installed a heater blower fan, but still not working
The Ugly
Rusty fenders, trunk, trunk lid, rear window
Interior seat upholstery
