Description
up for auction is a real pink 1957 Cadillac paint code 46-12 which indicates it as an original pink car . the color is mountain laurel pearl with a pearl white top, trim code is 49 tk and the accessory code is ehky.
this car is originaly an Arizona car that was restored about 25 years ago and has resided in texas since then so it has no rust in the body at all with the exception of the passenger side bumper rear bumper end , other than that I cannot find any .
this is the tightest and most solid driving car I think I have ever owned , no rattles or squeaks as you drive it down the road, smooth as glass.
the engine is the original 365 backed up by the original hydramatic transmission both were rebuilt at some point and were painted blue ( gmc blue} and not the correct Cadillac blue. but they both work perfectly.
since owning the car I have replaced the power booster, new brakes , rebuilt the steering box, rebuilt the carburetor, added some new Cadillac wire wheels , the really nice ones from mac daddy wire wheels. a 100 amp one wire alternator, an electric fuel pump and an electronic ignition housed in the original distributor. all done to make the car reliable.
all things work as they should except the horn and the clock, which I planned of fixing, I just never got around to , and the air conditioning is an under dash unit that uses r 134 Freon and it will freeze you out of the car! also there is a cd player hidden in the glove box.
this car has been super reliable and I would not be afraid to get in it and drive it coast to coast it is that good.
now for the list of things I would fix..some of the window seals need replacing, fix the horn, and the passenger side rear bumper end has a rust hole about half the size of a dime, easy fix , the paint has several chips but is nice and shinyI probably am a little too critical in my description but I would rather be that way than be misleading.
now for this part.as is no warranty, 500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of auctions end with the balance to be paid within 7 days, also the buyer is responsible for shipping and all expenses for shipping.
thank you and good luck, happy bidding!!!!!!!
