Description
1950 Cadillac Series 62 2-door Coupe. This is the more desirable longer wheel base (same as Coupe
DeVille minus electric windows and seat).
331 OHV V8 with hydra-matic transmission. Engine runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly.
Rust-free California car. Spent most of its life in the San Francisco Bay Area---owned by a man in Hillsborough, CA since the early 60s. Mileage believed to be actual (91k).
The following work has been done recently:
Full tune up: new plugs, wires, coil, rotor, points, cap, condenserComplete brake job: new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, shoesNew wheel sealsFlushed radiator, new hosesAll fresh fluidsNew oil and fuel filtersNew battery and cablesRebuilt carburetor Rebuilt fuel pumpAll gauges and lights work, including headlights, back-up lights and turn signals. Horn works. Heater works. Clock and radio do not work.
Front seat has three small punctures and two splits at the seam. Rear seat has a small patch on the corner of the seat back. Otherwise seats are in decent shape. Brand new carpet.
All chrome and stainless are really nice including front grill. Only exception is rear bumper which is showing some age. Front bumper has a scratch on it.
It’s an older re-paint that shows some imperfections---normal chips and scratches from regular use. Decent looking driver.
White wall tires with plenty of tread. Original sombrero hub caps.
Floors and trunk are super solid.
