Description
This 1950 Cadillac Series 62 sedan is currently a daily driver!
We park it in front of our business daily and it gets a ton of looks!
The cadillac was way ahead of its time and has features that were not standard on many vehicles for a decade or two later. This car is pretty much all original (it was repainted at some time in the past, but with the original color) and it does have an aftermarket AC. We replaced the radiator with a large, aluminum one and it has an electronic battery disconnect with remote.
It runs and drives good, but like any old car from this era it is not like driving a new car.
Vehicle has a mostly original interior (which could use new upholstery) and has 106,000 original miles! This car was featured in the Rex Allen Days Parade for a number of years by the previous owner and it won numerous ribbons and awards at local car shows and the parade. We still have those and they convey with the vehicle at sale.
The tires are whitewall radials and have under 10,000 miles on them.
Here are some or the original vehicle specs:
1950 Cadillac Series Sixty-Two Touring Sedan Hydra-Matic:
• 4-door sedan body type
• RWD (rear-wheel drive), automatic 4-speed gearbox
• gasoline (petrol) engine with displacement: 5425 cm3 / 331.1 cui, advertised power: 119 kW / 160 hp / 162 PS ( SAE ), torque: 423 Nm / 312 lb-ft,
• characteristic dimensions: outside length: 5483 mm / 215.875 in, width: 2037 mm / 80.2 in, wheelbase: 3200 mm / 126 in
• reference weights: shipping weight 1861 kg / 4102 lbs estimated curb weight: 1940 kg / 4280 lbs
This car is a head-turner and runs and drives good as a daily driver. However, it is not without minor faults, as would be expected of a car of this age. If it were perfect, the price would be over twice as much. This is a good daily driver or a perfect restoration project, as it already is in pretty good shape.
Sold AS-IS, Where is.
