Description
1959 Cadillac Series 62 4 Door No Post 6 Window Sedan. Original 390 V8 engine with new Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor (original carburetor will come with the car). Hydra-Matic transmission was recently rebuilt at professional transmission shop. Currently driven less than 100 miles per year and never sees rain. This car has like new Bridgestone radial tires, but also comes with B.F. Goodrich Silvertown bias ply whitewall tires. Body could be refinished unless you want the patina look, paint is original and the body has some dents/dings, please see pictures. I would recommend interior be completely reupholstered: seats, headliner, door trim, rubber seals and carpet all be replaced, unless the buyer wants the original olden look. Chrome is in very good condition condition for a 62 year old car, but not perfect. Extra parts are included, please see the picture: lower front fender replacements, both front fender side chrome moldings, rear passenger interior door arm rest and more. Car came with A/C, but at some point the compressor was removed. Mileage unknown; shows 74,498, but speedometer does not work. Currently has an older set of Cragar hubs, but also comes with period Cadillac hub caps. Comes with a radio/CD player installed and sitting on the middle of the front floor; original radio still in place. Comes with an indoor only car cover to keep dust off. This car is used primarily to cruise into town to get the kids ice cream. Too many man toys to restore and keep up, so it is time for this big fun land yacht to go to a another home to be brought back to a full restoration or enjoyed as is. I recommend and welcome buyers to make an appointment to come and view the car at a local repair shop, where it can be put up on a rack and critiqued before bidding. The car is kept in a temperature controlled moisture free garage along with other classic cars. Please view all of the pictures, the car is sold as is, with no warranties guaranteed or expressed. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or need of additional pictures. Videos are also available and can be requested to be sent through email. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and costs associated with shipping, but I am willing to help coordinate pick-up. Payment must be in the form of a certified cashier's check, money order or cash. Certified cashier's checks and money orders must be verified cleared by the bank before the car is released to the buyer. All sales are final and deposits are non-refundable in the case of a buyer not finalizing the purchase. Thank you.
