Description
1966 Cadillac deville convertible.
Very solid car, the most rust free convertible I have ever found in my car building career (ALL I RESTORE IS CADILLACS). No rust on the floors, rockers, nor truck pans. I personally took the car down to bare metal all the way around and found little to no bondo, nor rust. I ryno lined the trunk and was working on doing that to the entire underbody of the car but did not get around to it. The only rust I found on the entire car was on the front bumper. I found this car in a barn at an estate sale many years ago and I have kept it in the garage since starting the build. It is sitting on $3000 mob steel wheels and new diamondback low profile tires, I also had the grill powder-coated black. The car is complete front to back except for the cast headlight shells upfront that were cracked and broken so they went into the trash. It is a numbers matching A/C car which is pretty rare because it was such an expensive option. The top works fine up and down as well as the windows, the car appeared to have originally been cream with a brown interior but the last owner painted it red. When I received it is when I took it down to bare metal and sprayed it flat black. The car turns over when a battery is hooked up to it, however I never spent much time getting it running due to the fact I was going to drop an LSA in it. It is a great candidate for restoration or restomod. I am an active duty service member and have too many builds going on right now so unfortunately this one has to go. I'm in no rush to sell and I am selling at a very fair price. I will send any pictures you want so please just ask and Ill get them to you ASAP. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
