1953 Chevrolet 3100 5 WINDOW PICKUP TOTAL GROUND UP RESTORATION

1953 Chevrolet 3100This is a one of a kind truck totally ground up restored. Many new parts. All glass new and tinted, new wiring 12 volt, new gauges, new tires, powder coated wheels, disc brakes all around, new rubber, new wiper motor, Four coat paint job starting with a black epoxy primer, yellow coat then green top coat sanded to the yellow to appear like rust then a clear coat finish. Optima battery with remote switch. New heater and switch. Works great. All parts new and in perfect working condition. New tuck and roll seat cover. Too much to list. Have lots of pictures taken during build. Anything on this truck that was tarnished or overused was replaced or re-chromed. Five speed manual transmission out of a IROC car totally rebuilt. Shifts smooth. The engine a 292 6 cylinder. Totally rebuilt, blueprinted, with mild cam and lump port heads. Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. water cooled intake. New aluminum radiator. Also have the stock leaf springs that have been rebuilt and painted. Truck never overheats, stays at the 185 degree thermostat range. Drive anywhere. Cruise all day long at 70 mph+.
