Description
The 2003-05 Chevrolet Astro vans have factory upgraded brakes, suspension, and wheels shared with Suburbans and pick-up trucks. The tires have about 30% tread remaining on 16" factory alloy wheels. The exhaust system, brakes, A/C compressor. and shocks were replaced last year. Everything works for the most part. The driver's door arm rest needs repair (see photo). One side of the plastic side in the rear is cracked (see photo). The driver's window tint has a bubble (see photo). The rear seat is not included (front buckets and 1 bench only). The donor van was a GMC and we kept the grille because it looks better than the Chevy. This van is what you would expect of an 11 year old vehicle that was used the way it was intended, but well maintained.
Emblems and badges shaved. Reese type II/III hitch with flat four plug. South Florida based since new, no rust.
The transmission began to shift poorly at 153,000 miles and was professionally rebuilt with 12/12 warranty. Good for the next 150,000 miles, no change in sales price.
New cross-drilled slotted brake rotors and ceramic pads added with transmission rebuild.
Full disclosure: This van had a front end collision last December; we repaired it, and are currently driving it 100 miles a day as we have for 3 years (unfortunate job transfer). The following items were replaced, asterisks indicate items unrelated to the accident (we periodically spruce up our vehicles):
New items:
A/C condenser, dryer, and re-charge.Upper fan shroud.Radiator overflow and washer bottle.Radiator support bushing kit (body mounts).Professionally rebuilt transmission and torque converter*.Brake rotors and ceramic pads*.Aftermarket billet grille insert*.Headlight lenses.Parking light lenses.Corner light lenses*.Tail light lenses*.Starter*.Battery*.Windshield*.Recycled items:
Grille shell and trim.Radiator support.Header panel.Radiator.Hood.Heater core housing.Left rear door shell*.Vehicle sale is "as-is, where-is", with buyer taking responsibility to inspect and transport as desired.
