1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Sports Coupe
This car was restored in USA
Built in Oakland California in 1956
The restorer started with a rust free solid original car.
It was a body off frame, back to bare metal start from scratch rebuild.
All the floors are original 1956 metal, no rust repairs required just clean and paint.
The restorer wanted a 1956 Chevrolet as it came from the show room.
I was told it is a numbers correct 1956 rebuild.
and everything was rebuilt.
Engine, Transmission, Brakes, Suspension, Steering, Generator, Starter motor, etc,
It was all rebuilt before the car was reassembled.
So,
1956 265 V8 with an original Power glide auto trans.
1956 power steering and 1956 dual carbs on a factory manifold, with the correct numbers so I am told.
I have fitted lowered front springs and lowering blocks in the rear. 1967 Corvette 7 inch factory wheels
I have the original wheels and the original hub caps These will be included in the sale of this car.
I have fitted a new stainless steel grille and park light surrounds. New park lights New switches. A new speedo face so it reads in Klms per hour. A new stainless steel exhaust system. New steering/front suspension bushes.
